HSE Improves its Position in QS BRICS Ranking Top-100
Only three of the Top-10 Russian universities, HSE, Tomsk State University, and MEPhI, managed to improve their positions compared with last year. HSE moved up from 63rd to 62nd place in the ranking.
HSE Pushes ahead Six Places in QS EECA-2015 Ranking
The QS University Rankings: EECA 2015 was published on October 21, assessing universities from 30 countries in Emerging Europe and Central Asia for 150 coveted positions in the ranking. Over the past year, the Higher School of Economics has gone from 37th place to 31st, improving across all metrics.
HSE Improves its Standing in QS University and Facutly Ratings
For the first time the University is listed among the top Arts & Humanities institutions, taking 289th place globally and 3rd place within Russia. HSE was also ranked 2nd place within Russia in the sectoral ranking Social Sciences & Management, rising from 232nd place globally in 2014 to 161st place globally this year.
For the First Time, HSE Enters QS Top 100 Subject Rankings
HSE has entered the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2015 in the top 51-100 in Development Studies, and is the only Russian university in this category.

HSE has Held its Position in the QS World University Rankings
The Higher School of Economics has held its position in the QS World University Rankings in the 500-550 group. A Russian version of the ranking system was presented by RIA Novosti on the 10th September 2013.
