of companies in Russian industry are innovative.

The level of innovative activity in Russia over the last 12 years has remained virtually unchanged, with the share of industrial companies engaged in technological innovation holding steady at around 9-10%.

Companies in the high-tech sectors are the most innovative. The best results were seen in companies that manufacture aircraft and spacecraft (34.9%), as well as equipment for radio, television and communications (33.5%).

These data are presented in a new HSE Data Book ‘Indicators of Innovation: 2015’, which will be published early next year.
