Design School Launches CPD Courses in Comic History, Future Studies, Fashion Theory and Much More
Are you interested in the history of Hollywood cinema or photography? Have you always wondered how advertising and media influence us? Perhaps you want to learn more about women’s contribution to world art. In September, the HSE Art and Design School is launching 72 courses in a variety of fields—including some quite unexpected ones—that will provide students with new systemic knowledge and immerse them in the theory of art and design. The courses start on September 4, but applications to join will remain open until September 10.
Results of HSE St Petersburg Summer School 2023
In August, the HSE University-St Petersburg Summer School came to an end. The participants attended courses in political science, Russian, and finance given by professors of HSE University-St Petersburg, got to know the city, and saw the sights as part of the cultural programme. The summer school hosted students from nine countries: China, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Germany, Uzbekistan and Russia.
Summer University 2023: ‘A Good Introduction to Urban Studies’
At the start of August, HSE University held the tenth annual Summer University. This year’s programme took the form of a workshop on urban studies. The participants attended four courses from HSE University faculty and invited experts and worked on their own projects to develop a cultural heritage site. What Awaits Participants of the HSE St Petersburg Summer School 2023
From July 3 to August 11, 2023, HSE University-St Petersburg will hold its traditional Summer School, which offers participants various courses in four fields of study. International and Russian students will get a chance not only to gain new knowledge and ECTS credits, but also to enjoy the unforgettable atmosphere of summer in St Petersburg. ICEF Holds Summer Bridge School in Financial Economics
The ICEF Summer Bridge School prepares students from various countries and universities for their master’s studies. It is a short-term summer programme for students of bachelor’s and master’s programmes who are planning to apply to the Master’s in Financial Economics at ICEF and similar master’s programmes at other universities in the coming year. The participants of this year’s School included students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Ghana, Azerbaijan, Italy, Armenia, Nigeria, China, Turkey, and others.

Throughout July, students of the HSE International Summer University are studying Russian History and Behavioural Economics. The courses are taking place in an online format—something that seemed unthinkable for a summer programme before the COVID-19 pandemic. Summer School of Design to Be Held in St Petersburg
The HSE Art and Design School in St Petersburg is launching the Summer School of Design, a new urban educational project for those interested in design and visual art. The school, which is organised with support from the government of St Petersburg, will be held online on July 4–10 and will offer first-level courses in seven design disciplines.

American Students Delve into Russian Language, Culture, and History
On February 1, a group of American students started their short-term on-campus study programme at HSE University. During three months, the students will take courses in post-Soviet Russian history, contemporary Russian domestic and foreign policy, social anthropology, and a practical course of Russian as a Foreign Language.
